Computer manufacturer Dell reportedly will continue to cultivate its mobile market today. And even recently Dell has announced plans to soon bring back new mobile phone that will run under Microsoft OS Windows Phone 7 and Google Android. So far Dell has revealed little party planned for the area of smartphones, but, now, confirmation regarding it finally arrived.
"You also begin to know us a bit on the side of the device," said CEO Michael Dell's recent analyst meeting, reports e Week. He was referring to the launch of the Dell Mini 3 based on Android. "We are very much working with Android and Windows Phone 7, and we see both the platform as a more attractive alternative to other suggestions that you may have to offer".
Since last year, the Dell has claimed to have big plans for the mobile sector, and apparently will continue to focus on the sector. More recently, a series of handsets from the company successfully entered the market, including Dell Thunder Android 2.1, Dell Flash and Smoke with the support of Android 2.2, and Dell Lightning is arguably become the first Windows Phone 7. However, it seems so far no official information about the handset has been present for at this time.
At the same time, it seems Dell is also planning to bring to market a tablet series that will compete with Apple iPad, or of such devices in the future that comes from HP, which is expected to be run under Palm Web OS. Dell saw this product as a great device for content consumption, which can create a new pattern emerged when the data request. In addition, Dell considers this tablet as a complement to existing devices, which can generate new buying patterns.
"One of the fastest opportunity we see with all the users come online is to build a data center to the needs of all the data. So we are very focused on our data solutions business center and provide the infrastructure for all content providers and telcos that provide all the data, "Dell said when asked about Apple iPad.
