Qualcomm has been talking about a processor that will come of its designated Snapdragon S4 mobile chip since they have not called S4. We found information that this processor will be able to run at clock speeds up to 2.5 GHz and 8 will also support Windows and Android, Linux and other operating systems.
Here are details of Qualcomm :
- Qualcomm chip will switch from 45nm to 28nm chip is more efficient with the S4.
- The clock speed will range from 1.5 GHz to 2.5 GHz.
- Krait new CPU uses dual channel memory and offer a performance boost of 1.6 times the CPU with the Qualcomm Scorpion electricity use 25 to 40 percent more efficient
- S4 chips Qualcomm expects to use 25 to 40% less power than previous chips, and offers 60% better performance.
- Core processors are not used to "collapse" to save power
- Graphic Adreno 225 is expected to offer 50% better performance than current Adreno 220 graphics.
- Adreno 225 will support OpenGL ES 1.1 and 2.0 and DirectX 9.3.
